Dyslexia Intervention at McCrory School District: 


For dyslexia intervention, McCrory Elementary used the Connections program, Recipe for Reading program, and the Barton program.  

At the elementary, 30 students were identified as having characteristics of dyslexia and 4 students were diagnosed with dyslexia by an outside source. 

30 students were using the Connections program, with 28 of those students being identified as having characteristics of dyslexia and 2 students who were diagnosed by an outside source. 

3 students were using the Barton program, with 2 of those students being identified as having characteristics of dyslexia and 1 student who was diagnosed by an outside source.

1 student, who was diagnosed by an outside source, used the Recipe for Reading program.

 34 students, who were either identified as having characteristics of dyslexia or were diagnosed as having dyslexia by an outside source, were involved in the dyslexia intervention program at McCrory Elementary.

 Dyslexia Intervention at McCrory High School: 

 The high school used the Barton program for dyslexia intervention.

 4 of the students that used the Barton program were identified as having characteristics of dyslexia. 

 2 of the students that used the Barton program were diagnosed by an outside source.

 6 students, who were either identified as having characteristics of dyslexia or were diagnosed as having dyslexia by an outside source, were involved in the dyslexia intervention program at McCrory High School.
