Community Service Hours
The wellness committee will be meeting at the HS Cafeteria on Monday (9/22/25) at 9a.
MES will be doing a fundraiser the for the next two weeks! Proceeds from this will be used to fund our new school store, provide reward parties for the kids, and anything else that is "extra"! Packets will be sent home with elementary students today. Orders/money can be collected by students, or they can be made online. Thank you all so much for your continued support!

The McCrory School District's Board will hold a special meeting tonight in the administration building at 6p. The meeting will not be streamed.

Information for Elementary Parents about tonights game. Come on out and support the Jags at 7!!
Parents, we want to make you aware that the district was placed under a short lockdown today as a precaution from the Sheriff's office. There was no threat to the students, staff, or district. The students have resumed normal activities, and everyone is safe.
Congratulations to former MHS student, Cayla Schaefer, for being selected as the Governor's Scholar for Woodruff County! The scholarship is a prestigious award offered by the State of Arkansas to the top achieving seniors in each county and is valued at up to $20,000. It is an outstanding honor and much deserved. We are so proud of you, Cayla!!
The Senior cheerleaders will be hosting Cheer Cubs September 29-30 and October 1. The Cheer Cubs will perform during the first half and halftime of the Senior football game on October 3. The price is $35 which includes a t-shirt. Forms have gone out to students in PK-3 at MES. If you need a form please contact Mrs. Lauren Baker at lauren.baker@mccroryschools.org.

Practice is held every Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Players are also encouraged to practice on their own as much as possible to continue improving their skills.

August 19 at Newport – 3:30 p.m.
September 2 at Hazen – 4:00 p.m.
September 9 & 16 at Newport – 3:30 p.m.
We’re still working on scheduling matches with PW and CC.

2025 Jaguar Peewee Football Schedule
Kindergarten parents may walk their child to their classroom on the first day of school. After the first day, kindergarten students should be dropped off in front of the building.
All MHS students need to report to the gym instead of their first-period class tomorrow. Also, remember that school starts at 7:55 a.m. this school year, and there is no late start on Wednesdays in August.
Our Pre-K program still has openings. Please contact the elementary school at 870.731.2921 for more information.
School starts Wednesday, 8/13/25. We want to remind everyone of the traffic flows for drop-off and pick-up at both the elementary and high schools.
Please help us keep our students safe by following the correct traffic flows. Please do not drop off or pick up in any of the red zones.
