📢 New Weekly Assignment Update for MHS Parents
To help families stay informed and support student success, MHS will begin sending a text message every Wednesday with a list of any zero (0) assignments from the previous week.
This weekly update is designed to:
✅ Keep parents informed about missing work
✅ Provide an opportunity for students to make up assignments
✅ Encourage communication between home and school
Please take a few minutes each Wednesday to review the message and talk with your child about any missing assignments.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact the school office.
Thank you for your partnership in supporting our students!

Lesley Norton, our High School Counselor, and Lindsay Clay, our Elementary School Counselor, are dedicated and committed to our students. They provide guidance, encouragement, and care that support students’ academic success, social-emotional growth, and future planning every day. They also help students navigate challenges, build confidence, and celebrate achievements, leaving a lasting impact across our district. 🧡🧡

While several of the highways and town roads are clear, several of the backroads our students and faculty live on are still icy. For the safety of everyone, we have decided to close on Monday 2/2/26. Safety of our students and faculty is always our number one priority. We know everyone has enjoyed our closure graphics this week, so here is hopefully our final one.
We WANT to be back at school…
but the back roads said “absolutely not.” 🧊
Mrs. Lindsay & Mrs. Hart are ugly crying on behalf of the entire faculty 😭
❄️ No school tomorrow 2/2 ❄️

❄️ We tried to plow through January… but we slid instead! ❄️
Our Maintenance and Transportation crews tried —but when the snow wouldn’t move, they decided to move with it and join the fun instead! 🛷🚌😂
School will be out on Friday, 1/30. Can't wait to see everyone next month.
The district will make up the day on Monday, February 9, 2026. More information will be released once we are back in session.

School will be CLOSED tomorrow (Tuesday, 1/27). Stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy the snow day! ☃️
