Flu clinic forms went home today. There is two forms to sign. Students must return the forms back to the school nurse by Friday 10/20 to receive the shot the following Wednesday, 10/25. McCrory School District's School Board voted 09/25/2023 to change the current school calendar. The ONLY change is in April. The non student on Friday, April 12, 2024 has been moved up to Monday, April 8, 2024. This is to allow students and faculty to be off for the solar eclipse. April 12, 2024 will be normal school day. A new calendar can be found at mccroryschools.org

IT'S HOMECOMING TIME!! The MHS Student Council is selling shirts for the perfect Homecoming Game-Day apparel! All orders are due by Wednesday, September 27 and shirts will be available on Tuesday, October 10th. Forms will be sent home in the folders of all elementary students on Tuesday when we return to school. You may see any student council member to order or purchase through our online store located on our school website (option not available until next week). If you have not filled out a lunch form for the 23/24 school year, you must do so before 9/28/23. Students that qualified last year for free or reduced lunches will have to start paying on 9/28/23 if an updated form is not submitted. You can call the school office and we can send a form home with your child or there is a form that can be filled out on the school website under the Dining tab. We encourage ALL parents to fill out the application. You can apply anytime throughout the year. If your income decreases, apply again! These applications help parents save money, while helping the district receive extra funding from state and federal agencies. All applications are confidential.
