MES Please see important information below regarding doctor and parent notes for excused absences.

Parents, safety is always a top priority for our students and faculty. Please remember the following rules when dropping off, picking up, and navigating to and from each school
MES:
~Only enter the drop-off and pick line by turning off Stearns Street, entering Stearns from 4th St.
~ONLY drop students off at the marked drop-off locations.
~Do not use the parking lot to drop off students.
~Students should not be dropped off at the gym to walk to the front door.
~The crosswalk will be closed again this year.
~Please do not start the 2nd car-rider line until 3:10 p.m. This ensures emergency vehicles will be able to access the building in the event of an emergency.
~There will not be a 2nd car-rider line if it is raining at dismissal time.
~Students will enter the front door and report to the cafeteria or gym until the 7:55 bell rings.
~Please remember that the drop-off and pick-up lines will run slower the first few days of school. One way to help speed up the process is to have students gather their belongings and be ready to exit your vehicle when you reach the designated drop-off location.
MHS:
~Students should not be dropped off on the roads by the gym or in any of the parking lots.
~Students should only be dropped off at the cafeteria using 6th Street.
~Parents and student drivers should not use Seamen St (the road between the HS and the Cafeteria). Students will be crossing this street.
~Any student arriving before the 7:55 bell must report to the cafeteria.
~Student drivers must exit their vehicles upon arrival and go to the cafeteria. They cannot stay in their vehicle.
~Students can not park in the bus parking lot beside the gym.
~Parents can not drop off or pick up students in the bus parking lot beside the gym.

MHS Parents and Students!
The first day school, will NOT be a "late start Wednesday". All students arriving before 8am should report to the Cafeteria. All students report to the Auditorium when the 8am bell rings.

Parents, next week is Registration Day. This is for all students in grades K-12.
We encourage MHS students to attend the July 30th date and MES students to attend the August 1st date. If you have students in both schools, pick the date that works best for you. If you are unable to come on your encouraged date, please attend the other date.
We have been working hard to improve and streamline the registration process. Everyone is encouraged to attend and get all the required paperwork done.

It's 'back to school' time again. We can't wait to see everyone on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 14.
