MES students in Kindergarten, first, and second grades will take their end of year NWEA test beginning Tuesday, April 16 and ending Thursday, April 18. Student presence and performance is vital. Please eat breakfast at home or at school, arrive on time, and get a good nights rest. MES students will rock this test!

An ambulance was called to the McCrory Elementary School this morning due to a medical situation. Our staff responded and were able to get the appropriate people to the school quickly. All students and staff are safe at this time, and the continued safety of all individuals at the McCrory School District remains our top priority.

Any student currently in 6-11 grades that wants to participate in a school sport next school year must have an updated sports physical. ARcare will be onsite May 21, 2024 to perform the physicals. If you have a child that needs the physical please fill out the online form no later than 5/14/24.

Muffins with Moms will be Friday, April 26 at 7:20 in the MES Cafeteria. In order for the staff to better prepare for our visitors, students will be sent home with a sign-up sheet and count. Please return these to your child's teacher by April 17.

Congratulations to Ms. Lynleigh Bull for being selected as March’s Staff Member of the Month! We are so thankful to have her as a part of our team! February’s Staff Member of the Month, Coach Tyler Houston, had the privilege of choosing for this month and noted how Ms. Bull has worked hard in her new role as testing coordinator this year and does a great job being available for and assisting the staff with all of their needs!
