MES Book Blast concluded Friday, November 17. Once again, this project was a huge success for our students. We are grateful for the books our students will receive for their home libraries. Our treasure chest winners are Lynnen Walker, Abel Jones, Keiron Dewitt, and Olivia Bundy. Gage Glover is the lucky winner of the iPad.

Public Notice: McCrory School District's Board of Education will move the November regular meeting from the schedule date of Monday, November 27, 2023 to Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 6p.

Book Blast is back at MES. Information packets are coming home today, November 6. Students must enter ten email address to get the prizes and fifteen email addresses in order to qualify for the treasure chests and iPad drawings. This is a fantastic opportunity to get books in our students' hands. The goal is for every student to get a book. Students have the opportunity to receive up to ten books. All MHS Seniors must report to the MHS Library at 8:00 am Wednesday, November 8 to take the ACTWorkkeys Assessment. Students must bring their Chromebook fully charged, and enter through the front office doors.

October marks the celebration of a special group of leaders in our community and school - our school principals. These dedicated individuals play a pivotal role in shaping our students' futures and the trajectory of our education system. Thank you Mr. Campbell and Mrs. Johnston for all your do for the McCrory School District.


MES Fall Fest was a hit! Thank you to ARcare, Amanda's Serving Spoon, MES PTO, EAST, Greenway, Peebles Farms, the Trunk or Treat participants, and the MES faculty and staff for pulling off our Fall Fest. We are very appreciative of our community for continuously supporting our students.











The McCrory High School Library will host a Scholastic Book Fair, next week, on Oct. 30-Nov. 3th. There will be books, posters, pens, and much more available to purchase. The fair will be open during the school day, after school, and Wednesday, Nov. 1st from 5:00-6:30. If you buy anything, your name will be placed in a box for a daily door prize. All proceeds will go toward purchasing books for the library and the MHS Book Club. Please, come and support your library.

Fall Fest is this Sunday, October 29 from 2:00-5:00pm. Due to the chance of rain, all activities will be moved inside to the gym and school building. Come join the faculty, staff, and MES PTO for an afternoon of family fun.

Red Ribbon Week is this week!


McCrory School District will host its annual report to the public this Monday (10/23/23) starting at 5:30 with the regular board meeting starting at 6.


McCrory School District is no longer lockdown at this time.

McCrory School District is currently under lockdown under advisement from the Woodruff County Sheriff Department. There is no threat to the district or students at this time. We will keep our parents updates as more information becomes available.

Reminder: Flu clinic forms must be returned back to the school nurse by Friday 10/20 to receive the shot the following Wednesday, 10/25. There are two places for parents to sign.
